Flushing Sai Center is cordially inviting one and all for celebration of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 96th Birthday.

We will be celebrating the Divine 96th Birthday of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with a two-day celebration on

Sunday, Nov 21st (7:45 am – 4:45 pm) and Tuesday, Nov 23rd, the actual birthday (7 pm – 8:30 pm).

For the celebrations on Sunday, November 21st, we are requesting the devotees to

join us at our regular center venue (if you are fully vaccinated and if you have children please let us know we can work out on that option as well)

while still continuing our virtual online zoom meeting for those who cannot join us for in person gathering.

Guest Speaker Dr. M Saikumar IAS (INDIA)
Currently Additional Chief secretary to Government of Tamilnadu and Chairman and Managing Director Urban Finance a lnd infra development corporation. Tamil nadu. Served at senior levels in government of Tamil nadu and government of India.

Br. Saikumar’s Family have been in Swami’s fold for the last 50 years. Br. Saikumar father, Sri M S Krishna Rao was a regular sathya sai study circle speaker.

Was a student of Balvikas in Hyderabad for 5 years and joined seva dal in Shivam Hyderabad before joining the IAS. Married to mrs Sumati also an interior designer and Balvikas guru and bhajan singer.

He has spoken in Prasanthi Nilayam on various occasions and recently gave a radiosai interview talking about “With Sai Everything is Possible”.
Br. Saikumar has MA and MPhil from university of Hyderabad and doctorate from university of madras in public policy. And a certificate from Harvard Kennedy school of Government on public policy.

Some Suggestions

1008 Names Process Details
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Requesting all devotees who are participating in 1008 Names chanting to follow the below process.

1) Please prepare yellow turmeric rice(uncooked rice + turmeric powder + few drops of water) to be offered at Swami’s feet during the chanting.

2) Take an empty bowl and place a picture of Swami in it. During each chanting offer a few grains of rice at Swami’s feet.

3) After the offering, you can cook these rice grains along with your regular rice and consume as prasadam.
Cake or Laddu or other Prasadam
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Cake Cutting:

As always with the tradition of offering cake cutting with Swami, this year we will be offering cake to our beloved bhagawan at the in person center meeting.

Also all devotees will be getting prasadam sent to your home on the occasion of our beloved bhagawan birthday.

We will reach out to you all to ensure that you have received the prasadam.

Laddu Prasadam preparation:

The laddu making is planned on Friday November 12th. For those who are interested in helping to make laddu’s for Swami’s Birthday Celebrations, are requested to reach out to Manorama Aunty for more details or other office bearers.
Offering Arathi to Swami
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Requesting all devotees to offer collective arathi to Bhagawan during this 96th Birthday celebration. Please follow the below guidelines.

1) During Arathi at the end, please turn on your videos showing us your altar as you offer aarthi if you are joining us online.

2) All devotees who join us for in person celebrations are requested to offer arathi to our beloved bhagawan.

3) We will try to turn the spotlight randomly on a few videos where applicable with no order.
