Flushing Sai Center is cordially inviting one and all for the celebrations of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 97th Birthday.

We will be celebrating the Divine 97th Birthday of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with a two-day celebrations on

Sunday, Nov 20th (7:45 am – 3:45 pm) and Wednesday, Nov 23rd, the actual birthday (7 pm – 9:00 pm).

For the celebrations on Sunday, November 20th, we are requesting the devotees to

join us at PS 208 School (74-30 Commonwealth Blvd Queens NY 11426)

while still continuing our virtual online zoom meeting for those who cannot join us for in person gathering.

Guest Speaker Br. Y. Sriranganatha Raju – Swami’s Student (INDIA)
Br. Sriranganatha Raju is alumnae of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL). He has completed his B.Com( Hons),MA(Economics) and MBA.

During his stay in Parthi, he was fortunate to have written and present nearly 412 dramas (skits) in the immediate presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Also he was blessed to be a speaker about the mission Sri Sathya Sai for nearly 2000 occasions across India and Abroad.

Professionally he is currently an entrepreneur running his company Sanathana Analytics and Recruitment Services Pvt. Ltd in Bellampalli, Telangana, India with a team of 83 members. The company is into recruitment, economic research, analytics and retail solutions. Earlier to that with TVS Group as EA to Chairman Sri. Venu Srinivasan overseeing the 110 companies of TVS Group. This stint was preceded by being Chief Economist of TVS Group, earlier to that Head of Economic Research, TVS Motor Economist, TVS Motor Equity Analyst with AMBA Research.

He was also recognized through various awards as below…

Some Suggestions

1008 Names Process Details
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Requesting all devotees who are participating in 1008 Names chanting to follow the below process.

1) Please prepare yellow turmeric rice(uncooked rice + turmeric powder + few drops of water) to be offered at Swami’s feet during the chanting.

2) Take an empty bowl and place a picture of Swami in it. During each chanting offer a few grains of rice at Swami’s feet.

3) After the offering, you can cook these rice grains along with your regular rice and consume as prasadam.
Cake or Laddu or other Prasadam
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Cake Cutting:

As always with the tradition of offering cake cutting with Swami, this year we will be offering cake to our beloved bhagawan at the in person center meeting.

Also all devotees will be getting prasadam sent to your home on the occasion of our beloved bhagawan birthday.

We will reach out to you all to ensure that you have received the prasadam.

Laddu Prasadam preparation:

The laddu making is planned on Friday November 11th. For those who are interested in helping to make laddu’s for Swami’s Birthday Celebrations, are requested to reach out to Manorama Aunty for more details or other office bearers.
Offering Arathi to Swami
Note: The below is applicable for those who are joining us online via zoom.

Requesting all devotees to offer collective arathi to Bhagawan during this 97th Birthday celebration. Please follow the below guidelines.

1) During Arathi at the end, please turn on your videos showing us your altar as you offer aarthi if you are joining us online.

2) We will try to turn the spotlight randomly on a few videos where applicable with no order.
