Sri Sathya Sai says “When the Divine comes down as Avatar―whether it be as Rama or as Krishna, Matsya (fish), Varaha (boar) or Vamana (dwarf―it is only for one purpose. You recognise only the momentary results of the advent. But you should note that the Divine comes as Avatar only to teach mankind the truth about love….. Love alone is the fruit of love. Love is its own witness. There is no trace of self-interest in it. Because love exists for its own sake, it has no fear. It is to teach humanity the way of love that Avatars come in the world. The world displays the diversity that has emanated from the One. The Divine demonstrates the unity that subsumes the diversity. Recognition of this unity in diversity can be learnt only from the Divine.“
All over the world every year on October 20th we all celebrate the declaration made by our Swami as Avatar. This Sunday, on October 23rd we will start off with Bhajans following we will have Br. Abhimanyu Kaul sharing his experiences. A Short bio about Br. Abhimanyu is below..
Sri Abhimanyu Kaul joined the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School in 1983 and completed his postgraduation in Commerce from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in 1990. He was formerly an Advisor to the Minister for Values & Character Education, Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Education. Under Bhagawan’s instruction and guidance, Sri Abhimanyu Kaul started a company called Values in Action to promote values in life and in living- work as a life coach and a Principal Consultant, values-based – change management. His work has spread across India, Canada, the USA, Indonesia, and the Caribbean Islands. Sri Abhimanyu Kaul has also authored a book called The Joy of Self Discovery that highlights the importance and relevance of human values in our daily lives, how to explore them, and explains the ways to experience practical spirituality, the book was inaugurated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
