This Sunday, we will join the LIVE RETREAT SESSION from 8:30 AM onwards starting with Bhajans, following with “Br. Cosby Powell” guest talk at 10:00 AM as part of the ongoing regional memorial day retreat. A Short bio about Br. cosby powell is below.
Br. William Cosby Powell Jr., Graduated from University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. Practiced for several years, then changed to Real Estate Development.. Came to know of Swami in 1974 from watching Richard Bock film. In 1977 Swami performed a couple of Miracles for me in Atlanta, Ga. Waited until my son was 2 years old to go see Swami (1979 xmas).
Started filming Swami in 1981. Produced several films on Swami which may be purchased at Ashram in Prashanthi. A Message of Love, The Beauty and the Truth, Avathar, A Talk to Westerners 1991, Trip to Madras 1991 and Trip to Ooty and Kodikanal.
These are also on my utube channel (Cosby Powell). I am fortunate to have many experiences with Swami which I will share with everyone at the retreat. Started the Atlanta Sai Center in 1980. Served as president for four years, the served as Southeastern Regional President (Sathya Sai Orginazation) for several years.
