This Sunday we will start off with Bhajans and following the bhajans we will follow 21 Gayatri Prayers chanting (as part of 1008 Sadhana).
Following the bhajans, we are planning on to start Bhajan Practice sessions for our lead singers. We want to have more frequent bhajan practice sessions in future. As all of us are preparing for a beautiful and divine Mahashivaratri bhajans, this is the time to practice bhajans with instrument support. This Sunday, we are encouraging devotees to practice their bhajans.
Purpose of this session:
-
For those who are offering via Zoom, the format of bhajan is not correctly being followed. Sometimes lead singers are singing solo with no option for chorus. Bhajan practice session will help one to offer bhajan so all the devotees can as well participate in singing along with you.
-
It will help to fine tune along with your beat and rhythm during the bhajan practice.
-
Finally, it will be helpful for all upcoming lead singers to gain confidence in offering a bhajan.
Therefore we are encouraging all seasoned singers and upcoming singers to avail this opportunity.
Bhajan Practice is open for all IN Person singers but as well for those who are going to join us online via ZOOM.
We encourage all devotees to come for In-Person meeting at our Hindu Center (Second Floor), 45-52 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355.
For those who cannot join us, please join online.
Please join this session.
