Fw: Communication regarding Global Council

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Om Sri Sai Ram,

Hope all of you are doing well by Swami’s grace.

This is the time we show our gratitude to Swami by commemorating the 10th Aradhana Mahotsavam on 24th April. Please join this event followed by Akhanda Gayatri.  We pray to Swami to keep everyone healthy and safe during this time of Covid pandemic.

Many of you would have received a letter from the Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust (SSSCT) regarding the formation of a Global Council (GC).

His letter purports the formation of a Global Council to parallel the activities and structure of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO).

Please do not pay deference or heed to his letter with threats and attempts to copy the function and structure of the SSSIO. In his letter, Mr Rathnakar sent a link requesting centers and officers to register with the Global council. Please inform officers and Sri Sathya Sai centers not to register with the Global Council as it would create confusion and chaos. You are already registered and are an official member of the SSSIO. The SSSIO, Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation (SSSWF) and the Prasanthi Council (PC) will continue to function independently and remain firmly devoted to serve Bhagawan.

Please see the attached letter regarding the position of SSSIO which has been communicated to the SSSCT on January 30, 2021.

The SSSIO is the only official organization outside India founded, guided, and nurtured by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The official position of the SSSIO is to continue to operate independently as per the divine command of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, as it has been doing for over 50 years. The attached Sanathana Sarathi article of March 2006 was the last word on this matter. Bhagawan has never stated or written anything to reverse this Divine Command since that time. He has always guided and nourished the independent operations of the SSSWF. The SSSIO, therefore does not recognize a Global Council.
