Aum Sri Sai Ram!

Dear embodiments of love, Loving Sai Ram!

With the blessings of Baba, multiple SSIO-USA regions (1, 2, 3, 4, & 8) are coming together for a virtual retreat over Memorial Day weekend. The core planning team has come up with a unique way to involve, engage and share healthy recipes tried and tested in our homes.

Baba says, “Food is generally looked down upon by ascetically minded aspirants and seekers and treated as something which does not deserve attention. But, since the body and the mind are mightily interdependent, no one can afford to neglect it. As the food, so the mind, as the mind so the thought; as the thought, so the act. Food is an important factor which determines the alertness and sloth, the worry and calm, the brightness and dullness.“ September, 21, 1979

So it all begins with food. Many have been experimenting with new recipes in recent times. We would love to receive your recipes of simple and healthy food accompanied by pictures.

1)    Use this link to submit a recipe &

2)    Send an accompanying picture of the recipe via email to <a href="mailto:2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" style="color: #0563C1;mso-line-height-rule: exactly;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: underline;" target="_blank" ymailto="mailto:2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com“>2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com with the recipe name in Subject line.

Recipes and accompanying pictures are due by Tuesday, May 19th, 2020. Please ensure the picture is taken under natural light and is high resolution. Experiment taking pictures from different angles to get the best view.

A compilation of your recipes will be shared with all retreat participants. Recipe pictures will be on display virtually during lunch break on Saturday, May 23rd, 2020.

Feel free to contact the recipe collection team at <a href="mailto:2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" style="color: #0563C1;mso-line-height-rule: exactly;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: underline;" target="_blank" ymailto="mailto:2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com“>2020RetreatRecipes@gmail.com with any comments or questions.

Happy cooking and bon appetit!

In Sai’s Service,

Recipe Collection Team
