EASWARAMMA DAY CELEBRATIONS
SUNDAY, MAY 9TH 2020 @ 12:30 PM

Sathya Sai baba says “ Every individual has a mother. One who does not please his mother and become the recipient of her love is not a true son. Hence, respect and revere you mother. Experience and enjoy your mother’s love. Dedicate your life for the happiness of the mother. You may acquire any number of degrees; you may undertake any number of sacred activities; but all of them will prove futile if you do not please your mother. ” Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol.39/Ch.1

We would like to extend greetings to all Mothers for a Happy Mother’s Day!!! This Sunday May 9th 2021 we are also celebrating the Divine Mother Easwaramma day.

Easwaramma Day which falls on 6th of May is celebrated by Sri Sathya Sai Organizations all over the world in the memory of Divine Mother Easwaramma who led an exemplary life and set great ideals to the world. May 6th is also celebrated as Children’s Day in the Sai Organization. SSE groups in Sai Centers perform songs, dances, and value based Skits glorifying God and expressing their gratitude to the blessed Mother for having gifted them with the most precious possession of their lives, their Swami. In the divine presence too every year, small children performed various plays and Swami lovingly showered them with gifts and love after their presentation.

We are pleased to invite one and all for the Easwaramma day program on Sunday, May 9th online meeting. Even though this year celebrations will not be similar to previous years with elaborate plays and others but the spirit and love will be the same. We are fortunate that all the children and parents for coming forward with eager enthusiasm to celebrate and participate this year. We thank all the children and parents.

Arathi Offering:

Sairam Parents, we are requesting all the children to kindly offer arathi to Swami on the occasion of Easwaramma Day. Please plan on to turn your videos during the arathi and ensure you are ready with your children.

Note: if there is no altar, please offer to any picture of Swami or any other lord as well.

We are fortunate to have one of Swami’s students Br. Nikhil Kaushik, joining us to celebrate Easwaramma Day.

Br. Nikhil Kaushik is very sought after speaker at various retreats. A short bio about him is below..

Nikhil Kaushik is from Bangalore, India, has been devotee of Swami since his childhood. Nikhil’s family has been associated with Sri Sathya Sai avatar since 1943. Nikhil’s great grandfather Shri Sheshagiri Rao was the first official pujari of Swami, in ‘paata mandiram’. It was his family who conceptualized and started ‘Akhanda Bhajan’ in 1946, led by his grandmother Smt. Sundaramma. Nikhil Kaushik’s family continued the annual tradition of ‘Akhanda Bhajans’ for 25 long years after which Swami declared it to be a Global event. Nikhil did his MBA in Puttaparthi from 2005-2007. During these two years, he had numerous opportunities to interact with Swami. He currently lives in Atlanta along with his wife Ashwini and daughter Anvi.
