  • Due to increasing number of Covid cases in Queens / NY, we have made a decision to hold only ONLINE meeting as an precautionary measure. 
  • Most of the SSSE Parents are not comfortable to join for in person and are preferring ONLINE. 
  • We will make a decision on the IN PERSON regular center meeting at Hindu Center at a later date .

(Outdoor Activity – Saturday, June 25th 2022)
  • We will be holding In Person – Certificate/Graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 25th 2022 as we will be only doing Online ceremony on May 8th.
  • On Saturday, June 25th 2022, we will also be observing our Center Sai Picnic filled with fun and games.
  • Also on Saturday, June 25th 2022, we will be hosting “SSSE Last Day” celebrations of the academic year.
  • More details will be shared in next couple of weeks. Venue at this time will be “Sunken Meadow State Park / Beach” NY. It will be outdoor activity only with games, fun, food.

Easwaramma Day Celebrations

Sathya Sai baba says “ Every individual has a mother. One who does not please his mother and become the recipient of her love is not a true son. Hence, respect and revere you mother. Experience and enjoy your mother’s love. Dedicate your life for the happiness of the mother. You may acquire any number of degrees; you may undertake any number of sacred activities; but all of them will prove futile if you do not please your mother. ”  Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol.39/Ch.1

We would like to extend greetings to all Mothers for a Happy Mother’s Day!!! This Sunday May 8th 2022 we are also celebrating the Divine Mother Easwaramma day.

Easwaramma Day which falls on 6th of May  is celebrated by Sri Sathya Sai Organizations all over the world in the memory of Divine Mother Easwaramma who led an exemplary life and set great ideals to the world. May 6th is also celebrated as Children’s Day in the Sai Organization. SSSE groups in Sai Centers perform songs, dances, and value based Skits glorifying God and expressing their gratitude to the blessed Mother for having gifted them with the most precious possession of their lives, their Swami.  In the divine presence too every year, small children performed various plays and Swami lovingly showered them with gifts and love after their presentation.
 

We are pleased to invite one and all for the Easwaramma day program on Sunday, May 8th online meeting. Even though this year celebrations will not be similar to previous years with elaborate plays and others but the spirit and love will be the same. We are fortunate that all the children and parents, have come forward with eager enthusiasm to celebrate and participate this year. We thank all the children and parents along with SSSE Gurus.

Mother’s Day Offering: A bouquet of love will be offered to Swami. Sister Sushama might have already reached out to all mothers. If not, please contact Sister Sushama for more information. 

Arathi Offering:

Sairam Parents, we are requesting all the children to kindly offer arathi to Swami on the occasion of Easwaramma Day. Please plan on to turn your videos during the arathi and ensure you are ready with your children.

Note: if there is no altar, please offer to any picture of Swami or any other lord as well.
