On Tuesday, November 23rd 2021we will be celebrating the actual Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with a special satsang on Zoom (online/virtual) only. Sri. Venkateswara Rao Emany will join us to share his experiences. We are honored to have him join us. Bio is below.
Shri Rao’s family are devotees of Bhagawan from early 60’s, his father was an active member in bombay sai org.
Shri Rao had the opportunity to spend time in puttaparthi during the 60’s and 70’s and had close proximity (Personal Assistant) with bhagawan and traveled along with Swami. He was involved in several construction projects in PN including Eswaramma High School in 1972, Sarva Dharma Sthupa in 1975.
His marriage to Smt. Kameswari Amma garu (also ardent devotees of Swami from early 60’s) was performed by Swami in 1976 and Shri Rao left for the USA to pursue his studies.
Mr. Rao is a Mechanical engg and attended Villanova University, PA for his masters and also went to Wharton School of Business, University of PA.
His parents moved to PN in 1979 and Swami asked his father to look after Canteen and other things which were taken care of for several years.
Mr. Rao has been residing in the US for almost 45yrs and lived in PA until 2011 & there after moved to NJ to be closer to his children.
Shri. Rao has current business in Industrial products globally and currently serves as zonal committee member in Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, USA.
